The hamburger steak covered in gravy with mashed potatoes was tasty, hot, and filling. This was exactly the down home cafe food we were looking for. Great local place.

Awesome Lil hometown cafe. We really enjoyed the breakfast which ends at 10:30. The staff was warm,inviting and very prompt, I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and get the cubed potatoes over the hash browns and the sweet tea is amazing. Overall great place to have a very reasonably priced breakfast with the family.

Incredible! I didn't expect too much from its little outside but dang! These ladies knocked it out of the park! Every staff member was very sweet and helpful with the menu. The walls have beautiful paintings sprawled across them. Nothing was bland. Great portions for the price! I had the fried shrimp poboy (poboys are 12 inches), my friend had a BLT and they were very generous with the bacon portions. Generous with all of the portions! Try their cheese curds and fried oreos, you won't regret it.

This was our first visit to Da Kitchen Too. The wait staff was very friendly. We had fried fish and shrimp. The fish was flaky and the shrimp were plentiful. The cornmeal batter was seasoned well and served nice and crispy. We would definitely reccomend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great meal at an affordable price in Waveland.

I can say it was at least filling and the sweet tea was good. But I was disappointed. The mashed potatoes and gravy were instant. The fried fish was undercooked. The jambalaya was dry and clumpy. I will keep looking for great southern food around the area.

Really good food. Found this place online and decided to give them a try. Food and service was so good Friday that I went back Saturday. Well unfortunately the service was not as good on Saturday. The waitress on Saturday was not friendly or attentive. We asked for refills and she only refilled one drink when both glasses were empty. Based on my first visit, I would definitely go back when visiting again. I'm just gonna assume that Saturday was just a bad day.

Really good Southern American food at reasonable prices. We were travelling through the area and stumbled upon the place and it turned out to be great! The place appears to be a hit among the locals, and I can see why.

Great home-cooked meal.

The food is good. Its somewhere you can go for "home-cooked" meals. I ordered a chicken salad. It was huge and the price was around 7 dollars. My daughter ordered an oyster po-boy and it was overflowing the large plate. My only negative was the appearance. It looks a little grungy. All in all, I'd go back.

Food was fantastic (burgers, patty melt, specialty dish)! Quick & friendly service. Large portions. So affordable! We'll definitely be back.

The salad tasted fresh. Got the Jumbalaya, it was amazing:sausage, shrimp, and fried fish. Sister got the Kajun Katrina, the crab bisque was great for the meal. Garlic bread was an interesting touch to both meals, but it didn't change anything about the food. If you want some authentic southern eats, go here.

One of my favorite, Cajun - home cooking, family oriented, restaurants. The waiters are the best too. I've never had a bad meal here. Always, delish. I do wish they'd bring back Fried Cheese Curds. I always have enough food for at least two meals.

Great service. Lovely people that makes you feel at home. Food is outstanding and portions are generous. Great for groups or single. Handicap accessible. Your hungry & want a good meal to fill you up, this is the place to go.

Great all-you-can-eat fried catfish! Tasty sweet coleslaw with bits of pickles, and light, fresh French fries. And the fish portions aren't real thin so you actually can taste the fish! Service was great, too. Other than the condition of the ceiling over the dining room, this was a great dinner experience.

Wonderful ❣️ loved the food big portions and cost wasn't too outrageous !! We traveling from out of state the ladies that work there top notch !! I recommend this place .Clean and roomy !! The waitresses was using hand sanitizer also which is great in my eyes .Thanks for great place to stop and eat

This place has really great fried pickles. That being said the service here is not very pleasant. It's not heartwarming nor welcoming. As i stand here writing this review the woman says "have a blessed day" and other sincere parting. It is apparent that she likes to see us leave than come in to dine or order. Maybe it's just to me specifically. I have no clue. We drove in from Houston to come fighting through holiday traffic. Well I believe it will be the last time. I really hope you guys have better experience with the staff here and don't have to 10 min to be addressed at the manned counter. And another 5 min for someone else to take the order. Good food. Just wish it was friendlier

We ate lunch there today for the first time. The place came highly recommended. I had the lima beans and my hubby had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes. We ate til we were full and brought the rest home for supper. We were visiting from out of state but if we are ever that way again we will certainly visit again! Thank you for being a great experience for us!

Our favorite lunch spot. The daily specials are varied, well seasoned and delicious! We also love the hamburgers. A really old fashioned like you’d make at home burger. Oh yes!

Great local place. Nothing fancy but awesome food and service. The red beans and rice with smoked sausage was amazing. Also had the shrimp and grits and the Katrina special, it all for eaten you fast for pictures and was all delicious. Highly recommend if you want to try the flavors of real local favorites.

If you're an out of towner, go for breakfast or dinner. I love the breakfast. Breakfast & dinner time, the waitresses will actually wait on u. I don't understand why the restaurant is so dirty if the waitresses aren't waiting tables during lunch. Grab a menu, seat yourself, & order @ the counter. If you order tea or water, get it yourself. If the health dept allowed it, customers would be grabbing their own food from "da kitchen too" during lunch. This place needs a really good cleaning. The food is great & some of the staff is friendly & helpful. Lunch time is just really weird.
